Cheap-ass screen-print night was a success! Eight people showed up and things were made. Thanks to Beth for inspiring the craft. Following are some pictures of our stencils:
Jordan's Susan B.
I finally drew a dinosaur with clothes on.
Shane and Juliet came! With fists!
Painting is a Dinosaur logo.
Pretty much, you need: tulle (fabric netting) an embroidery hoop a little larger than your design a black and white, high-resolution design modge-podge black sharpie tiny paint brush for detail work
Tighten tulle into the embroidery hoop, then tape the picture behind the mesh. Trace the image onto the tulle, remove picture. Use modge-podge to fill in white area, making sure to leave all black areas clear. Let dry, use as stencil!
Craft night next week resumes at 8pm, when we will dedicate ourselves to Halloween costumes. Craft night fully supports the devil's holiday.
